Kidnapping of a Kurdish minor boy from Afrin in Germany
ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook today 9.1.2020, that cadres belonging to the Kurdistan Workers Party the PKK kidnapped a Kurdish refugee from the Kurdish city of Afrin in Berlin, Germany and took him to an unknown destination.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin made clear that one of the migrant citizens to Germany and residing in Berlin, whose name is Ahmed Abdo from Qurtqulaqe village of Shara town in Afrin region, complained about the kidnapping of his minor son Mohammed Abdo 15 years old in mid-November 2019 by PKK cadres and his Syrian and Turkish members after he was lured by the pretext of tourism with children in another city – Hamburg- Germany.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin added that although Mohammed’s father submitted the complaint to the German police against certain persons with names belonging to the PKK cadres, but his fate is still unknown.
The Democratic Union Party the PYD affiliated to the PKK continues to kidnap minors with the aim of compulsory recruitment. Recently, six children from Afrin displaced were kidnapped, whose names are: (Silva Nidal Isa, Reem Muhammad, Ahmad Nizar Hassan, Jamal Jabo, Jasmine Saifuddin and Sultana Bakir), where kidnappings took place from the camps of the displaced Afrin in Aleppo countryside, and the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo city center, despite the release of three of them, but three of them their fate is still unknown.
