ARK News: A Kurdish mother from the city of Sari Kaniye, in Syrian Kurdistan, appealed to the concerned authorities to disclose the fate of her kidnapped son, by the factions affiliated with Turkey.
According to a report on Kurdistan 24 TV, published on January 3, 2020, it was viewed by ARK Media Foundation: The Kurdish mother, Sharifa Suleiman, appeals to the competent authorities to disclose the fate of her son Mahmoud Hassan Omari, who was kidnapped by the armed factions in the city of Sari Kaniye for more than a month.
Local sources confirm: The kidnapped Mahmoud, 28, who has special needs, was not related to the parties, especially the PYD or SDF.
Since the armed factions took control of the cities of Sari Kaniye and Gire Spi, as a result of the Turkish military operation that began on October 9 of last year, violations against civilians continue in the same way as violations were taking place in Afrin, where there are cases of killings, kidnappings and seizures of civilian property, on the pretext that it belongs to the PYD.
