ARK News: The PYD and its militants continue to kidnap underage children (including young girls) from the Kurdish people in Syrian Kurdistan, with the aim of recruiting them into their camps. Where two girls were recently kidnapped from Aleppo and the camps for the displaced controlled by the PYD in Al-Shahba area in Aleppo countryside.

Kurdish sources from Afrin said: "The PYD militants kidnapped the 16-year-old minor, Reem Muhammad, in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo city.

According to the same sources: "The minor girl, Reem, is the only one for her family, the daughter of Muhammad and her mother, Aytan, from the village of Adama of Rajo town in the Kurdish region of Afrin. The sources indicated: "No information about the girl's fate yet."

Earlier Wednesday evening, news of the PYD's kidnapping of another minor Kurdish girl from the northern Aleppo countryside camps had been published and forcibly recruited.
On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, the minor uncle of the Kurdish girl, Silvia Nidal Isa, published the news of the kidnapping of his niece by PYD, blaming the party and its security services for the life of the girl or any misfortune to her and her family, calling for her extradition.

Despite international covenants and charters that prevent the recruitment of minors, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) continues to kidnap underage children from the Kurdish people in Syrian Kurdistan, including the camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs), which it controls, despite its signing memoranda with the United Nations and international human rights organizations and declaring it not to recruit minors.
