In a new chapter of violations, Ankara-backed factions continue their attempts to force Afrin’s remaining locals to leave
ARK News: Ankara-backed factions have been still continuing to clamp down on the Kurds remained in Afrin and its countryside, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights .
The SOHR has learned that the members of a checkpoint of “al-Jabha al-Shamiya” have arrested two civilians from Badina village of Mabata town, while being on their way to Afrin city.
The SOHR added that the checkpoint’s members took the two persons to unknown destination without revealing the reasons for this arrest.
In the same context, the faction “Al-Samarqand Brigade” had arrested two siblings in Jenderes town after they refused to pay royalty for olive and oil.
