Kurdish National Statement regarding PYD's call for "unifying Kurdish political discourse"
ARK News: What was issued, from the Internal Body of the management of the Democratic Union Party the PYD regarding the SDF initiative, about the unity of the Kurdish ranks, we consider it a positive step, if it is implemented.
The National Council affirms its seriousness in working to find a unified Kurdish position that leads to a true partnership, that serves the cause of the Kurdish people in Syria, and strengthens the role of the Kurds in the political process in accordance with concerned international resolutions with resolving the Syrian crisis, and the Council will deal, as it was, positively with any endeavor in this direction that aims to protect our people and reassure the parties and international and regional parties and the national opposition, and it will be a factor of security and stability for the region and promotes civil and social peace between all components.
