Turkish authorities sentence life to 9 young men from Kurds Afrin

ARK News: A human rights organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook today, 19.12.2019, the Turkish forces are trying with their full capabilities to dictate their decisions and control the armed militias of the Provisional Syrian Government and the National Coalition and exploit the practices and violations of armed militias to stir ethnic and religious tensions in order to enhance the spirit of revenge among the ethnic components of the Syrian people in general for decades. Consequently, killing the Kurdish people in the hands of these armed militias to commit crimes of genocide on the one hand and getting rid of the elements of these militias by throwing them into battles far from the objectives of what are called the "Syrian revolution" on the other hand, and the implementation of the political and military agendas in terms of the ethnic cleansing of Kurds and forcing residents to leave in order to make a demographic change, which was about 95% of the indigenous population of the region.


The Human Rights Organization in Afrin made clear saying: The Criminal Court for Terrorism in Afrin city, on 12/17/2019, issued a decision to life imprisonment for eleven Kurdish citizens from the village of Amara of Mabata town on charges of compulsory service in the previous administration and dealing with the Democratic Union Party the PYD, transferring nine of them to Hatay after their judgment and the fate two of them is still unknown, and the following are their names:

1 - Ahmed Mohammed Ibish
2 - Firas Faeq Kalkawi
3 - Hussein Ahmad Kalkawi
4 - Masoud Majeed Kalkawi
5 - Gengiz Ibrahim Na’ san
6 - Idris Ibrahim Na` san
7 - Rashid Sabri Meho
8 - Ramadan Hanif Meho
9 - Rezan Bahjat Ahmed
10 - Mohammed Khalosi Ja’far (Hamoude)
11- Rashid Sabri Meho

The Organization pointed out that the above-mentioned defendants were kidnapped on 03/09/2018 by the armed militias of the Al-Montaser Billah faction, in addition to summoning thirteen other villagers at the time and forcing them to pay a financial ransom ranging between (25 - 150) thousand Syrian pounds and including royalties in the amount of (5 - 50) oil tin.

The Organization added that the fate of the kidnapped Kurds from the people of Araba village on 03/04/2018 by armed militias of the "Mohammed al-Fateh Brigade" faction controlling the village on charges of compulsory service in the previous administration, is still unknown until today and they are:

1 - Joan Mohammed Nor Youssef, 36 years old (Physical Education Teacher)
2- Walat Hussein Tashi, 34 years old
3- Khalil Hassan bin Hassan, 35 years old
4 - Mustafa Abdel Rahman Pa’po, 35 years old
5 - Ibish Ibrahim Khalil Ibish, 31 years old (university degree - geography), who was kidnapped shortly after his village sons were kidnapped. And one of the sources told us that they were seen in Al-Ra’i prison early this year.

The series of violations continue in Afrin, which was controlled by Turkey and the armed factions, March 18, 2018, and organized chaos has spread in light of the poor security conditions and a large number of killings, kidnappings, and arrests, not to mention the looting of agricultural crops and the cutting of fruit and olives trees for firewood.
