ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook today, 16.12.2019, that militias of armed groups affiliated to Turkey continue by cracking down on Kurdish citizens in the Kurdish region of Afrin and the implementation of the political and military agendas in terms of the ethnic cleansing of Kurds and forcing residents to leave in order to make a demographic change, which was about 95% of the indigenous population of the region.
.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin made clear saying: within the framework of campaigns of searches and raids on the homes of Syrian citizens (especially Kurds) in each of the following states (Gaziantep - Kahraman Marash - Adana - Mersin - Izmir -Istanbul - Bursa) by the Turkish authorities and they deport the youth from them in particular and most of the families that do not have Personal identity cards (Kimlik) and deporting them to Syria through the Bab al-Hawa crossings in Idlib governorate and the Al-Salama crossing in the city of Izaz, which leads to their kidnapping by armed militias and put them in detention centers and prisons in order to pay the ransom or accuse them with false pretenses and turn them to the judiciary to judge them with financial fines on the pretext of settling the situation.

The Organization added that during the past week alone, more than 500 Syrian citizens were deported from the safety crossing only, most of them are youth and there are also the elderly. More than 200 citizens were imprisoned in the city of Izaz, including 70 Kurdish citizens, asking for a ransom to settle their administrative status or transfer them to the judiciary, in order to impose financial rulings and fines in accordance with the laws in force for returnees.

In the same context, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a while ago that he was planning to reside a million Syrians in the northern regions of Syria in the homes of the displaced who fled from their areas as a result of the war, which threatens the demographic change in the Kurdish areas, especially in Afrin, Sari Kaniye and Tal Abyad.
