ARK News: PKK militants are taking advantage of the security chaos and deteriorating conditions in the Kirkuk governorate and the Kurdish areas outside the Kurdistan Region Administration, to kidnapping and recruiting children, and sending them to their camps in Qandil Mountain and other PKK control areas.

According to the information: The PKK, and through its active actors inside Kirkuk, exploits security chaos and deteriorating conditions in the province, and kidnaps and recruits children for it.

The Asayish director of Kirkuk, Brigadier General Idris Refaat, says to BasNews: The PKK headquarters and organizations in Kirkuk are working to kidnap children and youth and then transfer them to the Khorna and Zan region between Kafri and Khormato.

The source added: There were cases of kidnappings of children by the PKK before the betrayal of October 16, 2017, but these cases have increased significantly now, as these children and youth are subjected to training courses in Khorna and Zan camp, and then they are sent to Qandil and other PKK control areas.

Observers confirm that the PKK, since its inception until now, adopts a policy of kidnapping and recruiting Kurdish children to increase the number of its armed men.
