Bahoz Erdal: The Syrian regime should thank the YPG and the PYD's administration
ARK News: Bahoz Erdal, one of the most prominent leaders of the PKK, confirmed that the Syrian regime owes its survival to date to the YPG and the PYD administration, and Damascus should thank them.
The PKK leader considered that the Syrian regime owes its survival to the YPG, and said: The regime should not forget that, had it not been for the establishment of the YPG, and had it not been for the policies pursued by self-management, there would have been now no trace of the regime.
Erdal made clear that the Syrian regime should thank the YPG for its position, and added that, had it not been for the YPG, it would not have been possible now to talk about the territorial integrity of Syria, and the Turkish state would now occupy all the regions and annex them itself.
Erdal, a member of the HPG (PKK's armed wing) headquarters, was speaking in a televised interview broadcast by channels close to his party.
