President Barzani and Jeffrey confirm the prevention of the Kurds in Syrian Kurdistan from being exposed to tragedies
ARK News: President Masoud Barzani received, on Saturday, the US President's envoy to the International Alliance, James Jeffrey, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Jeffrey praised the progress and stability prevailing in the Kurdistan Region, stressing the strengthening of his country's relations with the region.
He addressed his condolences and sympathy to President Barzani and the people of Kurdistan for the martyrdom of a constellation of Peshmerga as a result of the recent terrorist attacks of ISIS.
In another aspect of the meeting, the two sides stressed the need for coordination and joint action between the American army and the Peshmerga forces in the war against the terrorist ISIS.
As for the political situation, the recent changes in Iraq, and the demands of the demonstrators, it was another focus for the meeting, and the two sides expressed their deep concern about the increase in violence and the deterioration of stability in Iraq and their impact on the reorganization of ISIS into its ranks and the increase in its risks and threats.
In the same meeting, the latent variables and field equations were discussed in northeastern Syria, and it was emphasized to prevent any demographic change in the region and to prevent the Kurds in Syria from being exposed again to tragedies, woes, and immigration.
Regarding the situation in Syrian Kurdistan (western Kurdistan), the US President's special envoy for Syria declared that they need advice and assistance from President Barzani.
