US Secretary of Defense: We have completed withdrawal from northeastern Syria, leaving 600 soldiers in the country
ARK NEWS: US Defense Secretary Mark Esper announced that the withdrawal of US forces from northeastern Syria was complete, and after the reduction of the forces, 600 US troops remained in the rest of the country.
USA Minister of Defense Mark Esper, depends on the situation of Syria a small group of soldiers could be brought or removed, but the number will remain in the 600 bands, he said.
"The coalition has started talking a lot again. Maybe we can see that some of the allies want to send troops," Esper said.
Following the meeting between US President Donald Trump and President Tayyip Erdogan, US Defense Minister Esper said Ankara has not stepped back on the S-400.
