ENKS locality in Girke Lake thanks Kurdistan Region for receiving refugees and assisting the displaced
ARK News: The regular meeting of Girke Lake locality of Kurdish National Council was held on Saturday, November 30, 2019, where the meeting began with a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs of Kurds and Kurdistan, in the presence of the majority of members of the local.
The agenda of the meeting was approved by the head of the local and attendees, through which a number of organizational and political issues were discussed at the Kurdish level in Syria in particular and Syria in general. Then, the organizational situation in the locality was discussed in order to improve the performance of the council. Some proposals from members were also discussed and submitted to the responsible body for endorsement.
For his part, Fakhir Addin, a member of the General Secretariat of the National Council and members of the Legal Body confirmed saying: We discussed the latest political developments in the region, especially with regard to the Turkish operation and its affiliated factions in Sari Kaniye and Gire Spi and the displacement of their people from their homes, and looted their possessions in front of the hearing and the sight of the world.
In conclusion, he thanked the local members of the Kurdistan region of Iraq to protect the displaced and provide services to them and send humanitarian aid to Kurdistan Syria
