Afrin ... An armed group cut down 150 olive trees belonging to a widow

ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook today, 1.12.2019, that militias of armed groups affiliated to Turkey continue by cracking down on Kurdish citizens in the Kurdish region of Afrin and the implementation of the political and military agendas in terms of the ethnic cleansing of Kurds and forcing residents to leave in order to make a demographic change.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that with the except that those militias carrying out the operation of theft and looting and armed robbery and indiscriminate kidnapping, and seizure of property of residents and logging olive trees, and deliberately under the supervision of the Turkish intelligence through creating an atmosphere of intimidation, terror, and insecurity and instability (creating chaos) by carrying out artificial explosions in order to displace the remaining on the one hand and liquidate some faction leaders on the other.

The Organization added that armed militias, who are belonging to the Jabha Al-Shamiya faction and led by Walid Gadro, on 30.11.2019, cut down 150 olive trees belonging to Hamida Rashid Hamdoush from Kafarmize village of Shara town.

The organization made clear that as a result of her grief over her olive trees field she suffered a stroke, which necessitated her transfer to the hospital and receiving treatment and she is still under intensive care.

It is worth mentioning that since the invasion of the Turkish army and the armed factions and groups Afrin region, kidnappings campaigns against Kurdish civilians continue with false pretexts, in addition to cutting down olive and forest trees for selling firewood.
