Turkish Defense announces the killing of two soldiers on the border with Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News: The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of two Turkish soldiers as a result of a missile attack targeting a military base in the town of “Agca Qala” in southern Turkey, at the border with Syrian Kurdistan.
The ministry said the attack took place, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, and targeted a base on the other side of the town of Gire Spi in Kurdistan Syria, which was controlled by Turkey after a military operation against Syrian Kurdistan against the SDF last month.
The ministry said in a statement that Turkish troops returned fire on the source of the attack, and continued operations in the region.
