Afrin ... Daily violations against Kurdish citizens by pro-Turkey armed factions and groups
ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook today that militias belonging to Sultan Suleiman Shah (Amshat) imposed a huge royalty on some citizens and kidnapped many Kurdish citizens from the center town of Shiye and some of its villages on charges of dealing with the former administration of the PYD in order to extort them and demand ransom in exchange for their release.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that the armed militias of the Sultan Suleiman Shah faction led by Mohammad Al-Jassim, nicknamed Abu Amsha, last week imposed a $ 5,000 financial royalty on Mohammed Mustafa Hussein, who is from Shiye town under the pretext of supporting the former administration of the PYD, and due to his deteriorating financial situation and his inability to pay the amount imposed on him, he was forced to leave the village and go to Aleppo.
The organization added that the militias of the same faction imposed on Jamil Totti, nicknamed Jamil Khalil Oske, from Shiye town, a royalty of 70 oil containers, except for thefts from his olive crop.
The organization said that armed militias belonging to the Sultan Suleiman Shah (Amshat) faction wearing civilian police uniforms raided a number of houses in the village of Aranda of Shiye town on 18/11/2019 and kidnapped four citizens, including a woman on charges of dealing with the former administration of the PYD and led them to the security headquarters, their fate remains unknown to this day and names are as follows:

4 -Bakir Mustafa.
Violations against Kurdish civilians continue in Afrin region, which witnessed last week a violent campaign of raids on towns and their villages and some villages administratively subordinate to the city of Afrin, where the factions daily kidnapped Kurdish civilians and released them after paying funds, especially in Shiye town and its villages, where al-Amshat imposes royalty without exception from 500 to 1000 US dollars to every family that owns olive trees.
