BCF ends the fourth aid convoy to Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News: The Barzani Charity Foundation BCF sent, on Monday, sent another convoy of aid to displaced people in northeastern Syria (Syrian Kurdistan).
"We are committed to helping those who have been forced to leave their land and their homes," Mousa Ahmed, the chairman of the foundation, said in a news conference at the Pish Khabour "Semalka" border crossing.
The convoy is the fourth stage of aid provided by the Barzani Charity Foundation to the displaced and affected by the Turkish military operation launched in early October.
"We would like to thank the Kurdish Red Crescent as well as organizations in the Kurdistan region, as well as Europe, for helping us to reach to our brothers and sisters in Rojava ( Syrian Kurdistan), "Ahmed continues".
Mousa Ahmed said that the convoy contained 500 tons of aid, including 6,000 blankets and 1,500 kitchen appliances.
"We want to inform our people that whenever assistance is needed, we are ready and will always do our best to improve the conditions of those in need who have left everything behind," Ahmed said.
