The National Interest Trump Isn't Serious About Removing U.S. Troops from the Middle East
ARK News: US President Donald Trump is not serious when he talks about his intention to withdraw his troops from Syria and the Middle East, according to a report by the National Interest magazine.
The report pointed out that the number of US soldiers in Syria now exceeds what it was in December 2018, the month in which Trump said that US soldiers are packing their belongings in preparation for returning home after four years of combat operations against the Islamic State (ISIS).
The report pointed out that Trump has announced several times the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, before finally admitting that these forces will remain to protect oil fields in the north of the country.
The report added that Trump is likely to become part of the US Foreign Policy Foundation "hated very", his hatred to this "institution" and the status quo is not in fact only "make noise", and even repeated declarations about the withdrawal of American troops are not in fact only repositioning for them.
The report assured that if Trump had been serious about withdrawing, 3,000 military personnel would not have been deployed in Saudi Arabia since September.
The magazine concluded the report by noting that "ending the endless wars," the slogan that bumps Trump, what is really the only election propaganda free of meaning.
