Russian Defense: The eighth Russian-Turkish patrol begins work on the Syrian-Turkish border

ARK News: The Russian Ministry of Defense said the eighth joint patrol of the Russian military police and the Turkish Armed Forces has begun.

Ministry of Defense of Russia ’The Russian military police and the TAF began their eighth joint patrol this morning in the border area a few kilometers north of Kobani. Russian helicopter crews also patrol airborne.

Joint patrol route, Alishar stretches eastward along the Syria-Turkey border customs starting from the widest point. Patrol forces on the route are examining the situation in the settlements.

Patrol forces include Tigr and Tayfun of the Russian side, and 8 military equipment, including TAF's Hedgehog armored vehicle. There are about 50 soldiers on both sides. The movements of the convoy are monitored from the air with the Russian Orlan-10 UAV.
