Russia calls on America to bring the oil fields back to the regime
ARK News: Russia has called on the United States to bring Syrian oil fields back to the control of Damascus (the Syrian regime), saying that this would be a real contribution to improving the humanitarian situation in Syria.
"Syria should be immediately evacuated from the illegal foreign military presence, even if it is about resources that are important to our American colleagues, such as oil," Russia's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polanski, told a UN Security Council session on Thursday.
He added that "the bring back of controlling on oil fields to Syria would be a real contribution to the United States in the efforts to help the population of the country in humanitarian terms."
