ARK News: Since the start of the Turkish military operation east of the Euphrates with the participation of Ankara-backed opposition militias, there have been reports of abuses by these militias against civilians in the areas they entered, and these militias have been condemned for committing a huge record of abuses and violations against the local population.

According to a “Washington Post “ paper reported on UN data, that more than 200,000 people have been internally displaced by the Turkish offensive. Families, which have spread throughout eastern Syria, say that pro-Turkish Arab Syrian militias have carried out extrajudicial executions, beaten, kidnapped or detained relatives and looted their homes, businesses and property.

The refugees say that a result is a form of ethnic cleansing - a process they see as partly designed to drive Kurdish populations and their sympathizers, and replace them with pro-Turkish Arabs.
