The completion of the construction of a road connects Afrin with Turkey
ARK News: Construction of the road linking the border crossing in the southern Turkish state of Hatay and the town of Jenderes in the Kurdish region of Afrin has been completed on Saturday 10 November 2019.
The sources said that with coordinated by the Turkish state of Hatay, works are continuing to revitalize the commercial and social life in the Afrin region. In this context, the construction of a land road between Turkey and Afrin crossings was completed.
The sources added that after a work of about eight months by the Directorate of the highways of the fifth region in the province of Mersin, the road extending along the 10 kilometers was opened in the Afrin region , and pictures were published showing people using the new road.
