Masrour Barzani for Syrian Kurdistan refugees: You will remain in the Kurdistan region until stability is achieved and return with dignity to your homes
ARK News: Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Saturday inspected the situation of the Syrian Kurdistan refugees in Bardarash camp and stressed the continuation of providing assistance to refugees and displaced people.
During the inspection visit, camp officials briefed the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on the refugee situation and highlighted their numbers and the size of the increase.
Masrour Barzani said in a speech that about one million and one hundred thousand displaced people and refugees live in cities and camps distributed throughout the Kurdistan region.
He added that the Kurdistan region will continue its assistance to refugees and displaced people, but the international community, especially aid organizations and the international coalition to do their humanitarian duty.
Barzani pointed out that the refugees will remain in the Kurdistan region until political stability is achieved and return with dignity to their homes and lands.
The head of the government of the region called on, the United Nations Organization to help the Kurdistan region in the refugee file, in light of the flow of new waves.
