ARK News: Mohammed Ayo, the head of the local council of West Qamishlo of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and a member of the advisory body of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria and after his release from the prisons of the PYD: That the goal of the PYD is instilling fear in our hearts and made us move away from the path of struggle for the Kurdish approach.

In his interview with ARK News, Ayo spoke about his arrest saying: On Friday, 3/5/2019, I was arrested after a masked group of armed PYD gunmen raided our local meeting "Local West Qamishlo for the Kurdish National Council, And was put for three days in solitary confinement not exceeding two meters, then I was put in a dark solitary prison, so much so that I did not know what was being served to me until I put it in my mouth.

"I stayed 54 days in prison, where I was interrogated by the PYD, who attacked the Kurdish National Council and its supporters. Their aim was to instill fear inside me so that I would leave my job in the ranks of the Council and turn away from the path of struggle.

He added: This stage requires a tie between Kurds and instead of rewarding anyone who serves his issue, the PYD on the contrary and it hasn’t any work only attacking and insulting those who walk on the approach of Kurdish approach, and it is a great insult that you are arrested by the people of your skin. But with all this, we chose the approach of Barzani immortal because he is the owner of the Kurdish nationalistic project and we will not depart from this path and will not deter us fear or arrest.
