Hunger and disease exacerbate the suffering of the children of the Hol camp in the countryside of Hasaka

ARK News: Children constitute the majority of inhabitants of the Hol camp which their number about 73 thousand, where they live a difficult life with a lack of food, drink, and medicine with the extreme heat that has exacerbated their tragedy.

According to UN reports that 73,000 people live in the Hol camp in Hasaka governorate, including 49,000 children, 95 percent of whom are under the age of 12, and the rest are not more than five years old, including 3 thousand orphaned children by their father or mother or both of them.

According to medical sources, hundreds of children are suffering from diseases, especially diarrhea, and the medical staff in the region also confirms that the incidence of malnutrition and lack of food is growing.
