Kawa Azizi: Because of PYD policies, Kurds have become a minority in Syrian Kurdistan Syria
ARK News: A member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria said that the Democratic Union Party has protected Al-Ghamir Arabs who were settled in the areas of Syrian Kurdistan and that the Kurds today become a minority in these areas.
In his participation in the ARK Bulletin on Monday 24.06.2019 about the 45th anniversary of the implementation of the Arab belt project in the Syrian Kurdistan regions, Azizi said that during the seven years of the rule and control of the Democratic Union Party the PYD, which achieved what the regime and the Baath could not achieve since the beginning of the implementation of the Arab belt project and until the start of the Syrian revolution.
Azizi added that it was the Kurdish movement in Syria that had an important role and basis through the positions and policies in preventing the integration of Al-Ghamir Arabs in the Syrian Kurdistan society, and Al-Ghamir Arab does not think of stability at all, unlike today, where after the start of the Syrian revolution and the advent of the PYD, the Kurds have become a minority and migrated a large proportion of the Kurds because of the policies of the PYD, and it was achieved what the regime and the Baath Party thought for decades, and today, because of these policies, Arab settlers have become more and more stable in the region and Kurds become the minority in all regions of Syrian Kurdistan.
