Afrin ... Al-Amshat group prevents Kurdish resident to take his house unless he pays the ransom
On Friday, 14/06/2019, the armed militias of the faction of Suleiman Shah (Al-Amshat) prevented the Kurdish resident Fakhri Rashid from Qarmitlq village of Shiye town from taking his occupied house unless after he pays the ransom.
According to private sources from the village of Qarmitlq that militias belonging to the faction of Suleiman Shah (Al-Amshat) prevented Fakhri Rashid from retaking his occupied house by an armed element within the faction only after payment of $ 200 or he will burn the existing household appliances which forcing the citizen under threat to pay the amount to armed element.
The same sources added that that the commander of the faction Knew the case and asked him to pay $ 8000 to allow him to receive and live in his house and he gave him three days to pay the amount or otherwise he will be charged in their own way, pointing out that he paid $ 7,500 so far and he is still trying to secure the remaining amount.
It is worth mentioning that violations by the armed factions loyal to the Turkish army against Kurdish civilians in Afrin region continue such as taxes, kidnappings, ransom, burning forests for firewood, and accusing the Kurds of extorting them financially to reach a comprehensive demographic change after forcing the Kurds to leave their homes.
