
Afrin: 27 civilians died under torture in mysterious circumstances, including two women(with photos)
ARK News: The ARK Media Foundation, in coordination with activists from the Kurdistan city of Afrin managed to document the names of civilians who were martyred under mysterious circumstances and under torture in the prisons of the armed factions and groups since 12/3/2018 until 8/6/2019.
According to a copy received by the ARK Media Foundation, which documented by activists, the names of 17 Kurdish civilians were documented in names and dates, while the ARK Foundation documented the names of civilians who had died under mysterious circumstances and under torture in the prisons of the armed factions as well as the two Kurdish civilians whose bodies were recently found in the Rajo road. Bringing the total number to 27.
Names of martyrs in chronological order from the oldest:
1- The civilian Muharram Khoja from the village of Chaqala of Shiye town exposed to kidnapping on 12/3/2018, and after a week of his abduction and torture, the gunmen told the family of the hostage that Muharram Khoja died in a hospital in the city of Kills, Turkish and he was buried in Shara town. Note that the family did not receive the body, only learned that their son was buried in the hand of evil.
2- On 7/4/2018, Hanan Na’asan was exposed to beating and torturing in Saraya prison in the city center of Afrin and was died under torture.
3- On April 8, 2018, al-Shamiya Front militias shot at the disorder mentally young man Nash’at Suleiman at the checkpoint of Husse village of Mabata town where he later died
4- The popular singer Qadir Mohammed Kalisli
5- His son Khalid Qadir Mohammed Kalisli in the village of Barade on 29/4/2018 died under torture.
6- Rajab Shukri Rashid from the village of Darwish-Rajo was killed on 14/5/2018 by the militias of "Ahrar al-Sharqiya"
7- On 22/5/2018, militias raided the house of Mustafa Abdo Shahin in Zidiya neighborhood of Afrin. During Shahin's attempt to defend his house and honor, then he was exposed to shooting, resulting in the loss of his life.
8- On 7/6/2018, Walid Alawi, a driver, and was an employee at the Faisal Qaddour school was found dead on Basouta-Ghazawiya road.
9- On 12/6/2018, the deputy head of the local council of Shiye (Sheikh al-Hadid) Ahmed Sheikho died from his wounds after being beaten and tortured by the militias of Mohammed Jassim Abu Amsha, although the Al-Amshat militias reported that Sheikho had lost his life as a result of the illness he was suffering from. However, Ahmed Sheikho's brother Mustafa Sheikho confirmed that he had been severely tortured and subsequently lost his life, It was not as though his brother was suffering from asthma.
10- On 19/6/2018, an armed group in the center of Afrin raided a house belonging to Sami al-Qouj in order to steal. During Sami al-Qawj's attempt to defend himself and his house, the gunmen fired at him and as a result, lost his life and wounded his brother, and during the funeral of Sami al-Qouj, mourners shouted out that the gunmen had left Afrin and the funeral ceremony had turned into a demonstration.
11- Muhammad Ibish Na’ so from the village of Haj Hasna of Jenderes town was died under torture on 3/7/2018 by Al-Hamzat militias.
12- Sami Haj Khalil, 40 years, from the village of Haj Hasna of Jenderes died under torture on 15/7/2018 by Ahrar AL-Sharqiya militias.
13- Mrs. Sultan Nassero, wife of Hamdi Abdo from the village of Barade of Sherawa was killed on 7/8/2018 by Al-Hamzat militias.
14- Hamdi Abdo, a husband of Sultan Nassero from the village of Barade of Sherawa was killed on 7/8/2018 by Al-Hamzat militias.
15- Saeed Mohammed Tatar 53 years old from the village of Araba of Mabata town was killed on 25/8/2018 by the militias of Liwaa Al-Fateh.
16- Mohammed Amin Brim from Kafarsafra village of Jenderes was killed on 6/11/2018 by AL-Hamzat militias.
17- Aisha Hanan 80 years from the village of Burj Abdalo of the city center of Afrin was killed on 8/11/2018 by Al-Hamzat militias.
18- Ageid Sheikh Hassan from the village of Avraze resident in Zaidia neighborhood has died under torture on 16/1/2019 and his body was found with the effects of torture.
19- Mohammed al-Atir who is Arab displaced was exposed to torture in Midan Akbas village of Rajo town and was killed by the militias of "Ahrar Al-Sham" on 22/1/2019.
20- On 11/2/2019 Ali Qalandar, 80 years old, died due to his severe injuries after being targeted by Ismael Haj Bakir, a member of the Al-Shamiya Front in Mabata town, While he was shepherding his sheep in the plains of the town.
21- Khoshnav Fayiq Hanan, 34, from the village of Barbane of Rajo town was killed on Wednesday, 6/3/2019, who was a well-known barber in Afrin, his barber shop located at the Security Center.
22- Mohammed Ibrahim died on 19/5/2019 from his wounds. On 14/6/2018, Farhan al-Agaidi militias (Sultan Murad) demanded a sum of money from the citizen Mohammed Ibrahim from the village of Khalilanka of Bulbul town during the return from his work from Afrin in the sale of agricultural crops belonging to the villagers as grapevine, etc. After Mohammed Ibrahim refused to give money to gunmen he was subjected to severe torture and on 15/6/2018 he was released after being tortured by Al-Agaidi gunmen and then transferred to a hospital in Turkey for treatment after his health deteriorated he has died on 19/5/2019.
23- Rashid Hamid Khalil from the village of Belle resident in Jenderes town was killed on 22/5/2019 by Ahrar al-Sharqiya militias.
24- Suleiman Tubal from Jenderes town was killed on 28/5/2019 following clashes between the armed factions in the center of Jenderes town.
25- Abdo Sheikh bin Sheikh Bilal from the village of Sheikh of Rajo resident in the neighborhood of Ashrafiya was killed on 8/6/2019 his body was found in a field on the Rajo road.
26- Hanan Hanan from the village of Sheikh was killed on 8/6/2019 and found his body in one of the fields of Rajo road with Abdo Sheikh Ibn Sheikh Bilal.
27- Abdo Ibrahim, 27 years old from Kakhiri village, was killed by militias of Al-Amshat.
There have been many violations and practices against civilians in the villages and towns of the city of Afrin, and many families have not disclosed such practices to the media for fear of reprisals.
