Qamishlo .. A new campaign for the arrest of young people extending the neighborhoods and residential neighborhoods of the Kurds

ARK News: The city of Qamishlo witnessed arbitrary arrests of young people by PYD militants two days ago, for the purpose of taking them for forced recruitment.

A special source told ARK News that the militants of the PYD have carried out since Thursday 13/6/2019 a new campaign in Qamishlo city in Syrian Kurdistan to arrest young men and taking them to their compulsory recruitment, where they set up checkpoints in each of the "entrances to Qamishlo, the entrances of the neighborhoods and residential neighborhoods, and the main and sub roads of the city.

The same source revealed that the PYD militants raided several houses of Kurdish citizens, with the aim of arresting their youth and taking them to forced recruitment, a group of youths from Kurdish neighborhoods and alleys was arrested as a result of the raids. The source did not disclose the names of the detainees for security reasons.

According to what the source reported to the ARK News that, as a result of the barbaric campaign of the PYD militants a large number of young men were arrested then they have been taken to forced recruitment.
