ARK News: Fires devour on Tuesday 10/6/2019 about 39 of the territory of the villages surrounding Tirba Spiye city from the side of the north, east and south.

The fire started yesterday at 11 am from the village of Nabouha until it ended at 7:30 pm in the village of Shitka in Alyan area.

The Kurdish villages where the fires broke out are:

Khaznah, Hasouda, Souqiya,Taya, Khirbet al-Beer, Sahil, Qasrouk, Mohammed Diyab, Tanoriya, Bayaza, Big Siha, Small Siha, Lailan, Train Station, Ghardouka, Bashirirya, Kandak Sayed, Gire Birri, Um Ghirenat, Abu Hajar Ala Rasha, Shitka, Kershairan, Kirdim, Mazkaft, Khazimok, Nabouha, Dirijik, Mashouq, Gul Hasnak, Kirbikel, Derona Qulinga.

According to the information received by the correspondent of the ENKS the residents that about 600 hectares of agricultural land have burnet in the village of Gire Merki, 800 Hectares and Girdim village about 800 hectares, and in the village of Gire Birri about 800 hectares of dozens of families.

The area of burnt land in the village of Kandak Sayed reached from 80,000 to 100 thousand dunums, and the village of Derona Qulinga the burned area reached to about 90 hectares.

The burning of the land did not stop, but many of the residents of these areas were subjected to various suffocation and burns, including the injury of Mr. Khalaf Omar Abu Suwaar, a resident of the Kandak Sayed village, in addition to the burning of the tractor he was owing.

According to residents, the fire engines were going long distances to find water to fill the cars.

What had been extinguished had returned to flare up in the period when the cars were going to get water.

The fire engines had a problem with the lack of knowledge of the geography of the area, which was delayed in the arrival to the place of fire.

According to one farmer, the Kurds' land was completely burned, but the fire engines arrived when the fire started to reach Arab lands.

It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of the harvest of barley in the middle of the fifth month until now and the frequency of fires is increasing in various al-Jazeera areas, and the neighboring countries or international organizations did not move about this disaster.
