SANA: QSD has a hand in the fires that extending crops

ARK News: The Official News Agency of the Syrian regime “SANA” accused the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) of "inciting" the burning of agricultural crops in several areas of Hasaka and Deir Al-Zour.

“SANA,” said that civil sources accused members of QSD of inciting the fires as part of the policy of cracking down on people to push them to work and deal with them and prevent them from handing over their crops to the Syrian regime.

According to SANA, that the people see that "QSD" seek through the burning of agricultural land to take revenge on the peasants and deprive them to benefit from them because they refuse to sell their crops to them and to force them to join their ranks as a single way to secure their livelihood.

In the rural of Deir Al-Zour, (QSD) also choose the lands of families that refuse to obey and deal with them. Some of them are breaking out with the remnants of terrorists of Da’esh and their sleeping cells in order to inflict the greatest damage on the farmers and the people in retaliation for their refusal to join their ranks.

With the ripening of crops of barley and wheat in Hasaka about two weeks before the fires began to devour the fields and almost no day passes without happening, where the Agriculture Directorate of the regime recorded in Hasaka dozens of fires, which destroyed about 70 thousand dunums which estimated losing of wheat and barley due to the fires of about 18 thousand tons, noting that the cultivated area amounted to 910 thousand hectares in all regions of the province, mostly are depended on rain.
