Ali added that the returnees to Afrin face obstacles by the PYD, the Syrian regime, the factions, and Turkey. The question for PYD is why the percentage of returnees to Kobani is lower than that in Afrin?

This indicates that the erroneous imposed the PYD administration on the Kurdish people are not in the service of the people and that the refugees’ fear by the PYD of preventing them from returning.

The number of Syrian refugees in the Kurdistan region about 250 thousand people, in addition to the large numbers of Kurds from Kurdistan of Syria who emigrated to Turkey and Lebanon and the countries of the European Union, and according to observers, a large percentage of Syria's Kurds have been displaced, and there are fears of demographic change, and Kurds are now a minority in their areas.
