Jeffrey: We are aware of the relationship between PKK and YPG

ARK News: The US Special Envoy to Syria, James Jeffrey, announced that they knew there were some links between the PKK and the Syrian YPG.
Jeffrey said in an interview with Turkish daily Hurriyet on Thursday (June 6th) that their dispute with Turkey stems from the relationship with PYD, YPG, and said that America will establish a safe area in coordination with Turkey in Syria on the Turkish border.
Jeffrey also announced that the United States and Turkey are working together to change the regime of Bashar Assad, ending the military conflict in Syria and establishing a constitutional committee.
