Turkey … The arrest of the family of political Hawas Ageid

ARK News: Informed sources told the ARK Media Foundation on Saturday 25 May 20192019 that the Turkish authorities arrested on Thursday 23 May the wife and sons of Hawas Ageid a member of the Syrian negotiating body and a member of the political body in the National Coalition for the forces of the revolution and the opposition and leader of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.

According to the informed source, the Turkish government on 21.5.2019 detained the family of Hawas Ageid (member of the Syrian Negotiation body), and his family (his wife and two children, the oldest of whom is six years old) is still arrested and interrogated in Istanbul on charges of "endangering the security and regime of the Turkish state".

The informed source added that the Turkish authorities have refused to renew the visa to "Hawas Ageid" on the background of his participation with a delegation of the National Council of the Kurdish visit Paris to discuss the French initiative on 18 April
