Kobani … The PYD Deducts 1000 SP of employees per month
ARK News: On Friday, 19 May 2019, the de facto administration of the PYD in Kobani region in Kurdistan of Syria announced on Sunday, 19 May 2019, a decision to deduct a sum of money from the employees' salaries monthly as income tax.
According to a circular issued by the PYD, the ARK Media Foundation received a copy of it stating that the amount of 1000 Syrian Pounds will be deducted from all employees in the area of Kobani and the villages and towns as income tax as of 1/6/2019.
The PYD decision raised a great debate on the social networking sites and was condemned by the activists, considering the decision as a new burden added to the suffering of the citizens in Kurdistan of Syria, especially in light of the crisis experienced by the exorbitant price of daily life requirements.
