Asaad al-Shaibani: The New Syria Holds Deep Respect for Lebanon
ARK News.. Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani affirmed that “the new Syria holds deep respect for Lebanon and seeks to overcome the obstacles of the past.”
Al-Shaibani and his accompanying delegation arrived in Beirut on Friday, October 10, 2025, marking the first official visit to Lebanon by a Syrian foreign minister under President Ahmad al-Sharaa’s transitional government.
During a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Youssef Raji at the Foreign Ministry headquarters, al-Shibani told reporters, “We want to move beyond the political mismanagement that once harmed relations between our two countries.”
He emphasized that the visit “reflects the orientation of the new Syria, which holds the utmost respect for Lebanon.”

Joe Wilson Welcomes U.S. Senate’s Approval to Repeal the “Caesar Act”
ARK News.. Republican Senator Joe Wilson has welcomed the U.S. Senate’s approval to repeal the Caesar Act, as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), stressing that Syria’s success now depends on the complete and unconditional lifting of sanctions.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Wilson stated:
“These harsh sanctions — the Caesar Act — were imposed on a regime that fortunately no longer exists. Syria’s success now depends on a total repeal.”
Earlier, Mohammed Alaa Ghanem, a member of the Syrian American Council, revealed that advocacy efforts succeeded in inserting a provision to repeal the Caesar Act within the Senate’s version of the U.S. Department of Defense budget.
Ghanem explained that the U.S. Senate passed its version of the defense budget with 77 votes in favor and 22 against, noting that the included article stipulates the unconditional repeal of the Caesar Act by the end of this year.
He described the decision as a “dramatic victory in every sense of the word.”

International Coalition Conducts Field Patrol in Rural Ain Issa
ARK New.. Local sources reported that a military convoy belonging to the International Coalition carried out a field patrol in one of the eastern sectors of Ain Issa.
According to the sources, the convoy moved on Friday, October 10, 2025, toward the Umm Barmeel axis, east of Ain Issa, accompanied by helicopter overflights in the area’s airspace.
The sources added that the patrol was conducted as part of security coordination and on-ground understandings related to the situation in the region.

This decision comes within the framework of the strong and longstanding relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Turkey. We are confident that it will further strengthen cooperation and serve the interests of both sides—particularly the citizens of the Sulaymaniyah area.

Kurdistan Region’s Interior Ministry: Non-Governmental Actors Obstructing Implementation of the Sinjar Agreement
ARK News..The Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) stated that five years have passed since the signing of the Sinjar Agreement without implementing its key administrative and security provisions, blaming actors outside official state institutions for obstructing the process.
Below is the full text of the statement:
“Today marks five years since the signing of the Sinjar Agreement, yet none of its main provisions regarding the reestablishment of administrative and security structures have been implemented. The purpose of this agreement was to create a roadmap for normalizing the situation in Sinjar — ensuring stability, prosperity, and restoring confidence to enable displaced persons to return freely and with dignity to their ancestral homes.
The implementation of this agreement was also part of the political understandings among the parties forming the current government and included in the federal government’s ministerial program.
Despite efforts by the governments of Erbil and Baghdad to carry out the terms of the agreement, certain groups and individuals outside official institutions — who consider themselves above the law, agreements, and state institutions — have been the main obstacle to its implementation. This has resulted in the continued suffering of displaced persons, growing despair, and a significant wave of migration abroad.
From the very beginning, the Kurdistan Regional Government has affirmed its full readiness to assume its responsibilities in implementing the agreement and to prepare the conditions for the return of our Yezidi brothers and sisters and other original inhabitants of the area. We remain deeply concerned about the ongoing suffering of the displaced and hold those who openly obstruct the implementation of the Sinjar Agreement fully responsible for the continued instability in the region.”

قالت مصادر محلية اليوم الجمعة 10 تشرين الأول 2025، إن رتلا عسكريا تابعا لقوات التحالف الدولي نفذ جولة ميدانية إلى محور قرية أم برميل شرق عين عيسى تزامنًا مع تحليق مروحي في الأجواء.
وفق المصادر، جاءت الجولة في سياق تنسيق أمني وتفاهمات ميدانية تتعلق بالمنطقة.

أكد وزير خارجية سوريا، أن توجه سوريا الجديدة يكن للبنان كل الاحترام، وتريد تجاوز العقبات الماضية.
وصل وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني والوفد المرافق له، اليوم الجمعة 10 تشرين الأول 2025، إلى العاصمة اللبنانية بيروت، في أول زيارة إلى لبنان يجريها وزير بحكومة الرئيس أحمد الشرع.
التقى أسعد الشيباني مع نظيره اللبناني يوسف رجي في مبنى وزارة الخارجية وقال في تصريحات صحفية: "نريد أن نتجاوز عقبات الماضي مع لبنان وكنا ضحايا سوء إدارة سياسية بين البلدين".

كشفت قناة إسرائيلية عن تفاصيل جديدة عن زيارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب لإسرائيل.
قالت القناة الإسرائيلية الـ12، اليوم الجمعة 10 تشرين الأول 2025: "سيصل دونالد ترامب إلى مطار بن غوريون يوم الإثنين الساعة 9:20 صباحًا عشية عيد (سيمحات توراه)، حيث سيتم استقباله ثم سيلقي كلمة في الكنيست".
