Irvin Hicks stresses the importance of relations between the Kurdistan Region and America

A visual artist about holding a charity exhibition for ARK: Two letters from the exhibition and the proceeds for the benefit of sick children
ARK News… A charity art exhibition, on June 18, 2023, was held in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, featuring paintings by a Kurdish artist from Syrian Kurdistan.
The Hitma Organization, sponsored by Sama for Culture and Arts and the Capitol Hotel, held a charity art exhibition that includes 40 paintings by the plastic artist Muhammad Sharif Muhammad in the city of Erbil.
Plastic artist Muhammad Sharif Muhammad said in exclusive statements to ARK: Two messages from the exhibition are to provide a helping hand to sick children residing in the cities and camps of the Kurdistan Region through revenues, and the second is to preserve the environment of the Kurdistan Region and embody the suffering of refugees through paintings.

تقرير يؤكد إهمال خفر السواحل اليوناني مناشدات منكوبي قارب المهاجرين
أكدت صحيفة "ذا تايمز" البريطانية، في تقري لها، إهمال خفر السواحل اليوناني مناشدات المنكوبين الذين قضى منهم العشرات، ولا يزال المئات بعداد المفقودين، بعد مأساة قارب المهاجرين الذي غرق قبل أيام قبالة سواحل اليونان.
وكشف التقرير الذي أعدته مراسلة الصحيفة لوس كالاهان، كواليس ما قبل غرق القارب، وكيف أهمل خفر السواحل اليوناني مناشدات المنكوبين الذين قضى منهم العشرات، ولا يزال المئات بعداد المفقودين.
ونقلت الصحية روايات شخص أسمه "عيّاد" إضافة لعدة روايات أخرى لناجين آخرين، أجروا مقابلات مع صحيفة صنداي تايمز، قالوا إن خفر السواحل اليوناني لم يرسل المساعدة لمدة ثلاث ساعات على الأقل بعد انقلاب القارب، أي من حوالي منتصف ليلة الأربعاء الماضي حتى ظهرت أشعة الشمس الأولى. وأكّد عياد: "لقد فضلوا مشاهدتنا ونحن نغرق". وأضاف قائلا: "كان بإمكانهم إنقاذ الكثيرين".
كان عياد والرجال الأربعة الآخرون الذين تحدثوا إلى صنداي تايمز يائسين لسرد قصتهم، وتعتبر روايتهم هي أول رواية متعمقة للناجين تُنشر لما حدث ليلة 13 حزيران/يونيو، عندما غرق مئات الأشخاص القادمين من دول من بينها سوريا وباكستان وفلسطين ومصر.. وهي إحدى أكثر الأحداث المأساوية التي شهدتها البحار الأوروبية في السنوات الأخيرة.
تحدث الناجون عن الإهمال والقسوة التي تعرضوا لها من قبل السلطات اليونانية، لكن أقوالهم تتناقض بشكل مباشر مع الرواية الرسمية للأحداث، ولم يدّع عياد والناجون الآخرون أن خفر السواحل شاهدوا الناس يغرقون فحسب، بل ألقوا باللوم عليهم في التسبب في انقلاب السفينة، عن طريق ربط حبل في مقدمة السفينة وجرّها إلى الأمام؛ مما أدى إلى ميلان سفينة الصيد.
ولم يقتصر الأمر على الناجين الذين قابلتهم صحيفة "صنداي تايمز" الذين ادعوا هذه المزاعم، فقد روى أحد الناجين الذي نُشرت روايته من قبل صحيفة "لاريبابليكا" الإيطالية، والسياسي الذي تحدث إلى صحيفة "كاثميريني" اليونانية (التي نشرت نقلا عن ناج آخر) قصصا مماثلة.
ونفى المتحدث باسم خفر السواحل اليوناني، نيكوس أليكسيو، قيامهم "بأي تحرّك" يمكن أن يعرض المهاجرين للخطر. وأضاف المتحدث، مُعربا عن غضبه من هذه المزاعم: "لم يكن هناك أي جهود لسحب القارب".
وأضاف المصدر ذاته: "اقتربنا وربطنا القارب لمدة خمس دقائق في محاولة للتواصل والتحدث معهم. لكنهم فكوا الحبال وألقوا بها. لا أعرف من هم هؤلاء الناس وماذا يقولون، لكن حتى بعد غرق القارب، لم نرهم في البحر لمدة ثلاث ساعات.. لقد تحرّكنا بشكل فوري.. هذا هراء.. أنقذ خفر السواحل اليوناني آلاف الأرواح وشاركنا في مئات العمليات. إن هذه الادعاءات الموجهة إلينا هي محض أكاذيب".
في سياق متصل؛ أوضح عيّاد: "اتصل بنا الإيطاليون لإخبارنا بوجود سفينة قريبة منا التي ستحضر لكم بعض الطعام". وأضاف قائلا: "وقالوا إن السلطات اليونانية سترسل زورقا آخر، علينا أن نتبعه أيضا".
وصلت سفينتان كبيرتان خلال فترة ما بعد الظهر؛ سفينة شحن مالطية وسفينة شحن يونانية. وقام أحدهم بإلقاء عبوة كبيرة من الطعام في البحر، فسبح عدد من الأشخاص لالتقاطها وجلبها إلى السفينة.
وفقا للسلطات اليونانية؛ اقتربت سفينة أرسلها خفر السواحل اليوناني- بحلول الساعة 22.40 من ذلك المساء - من سفينة الصيد، وألقت الحبال على قضبانها في محاولة للاقتراب من القارب المنكوب دون أن تصطدم به. لكن المهاجرين رموا الحبال بعد خمس دقائق أو نحو ذلك، رافضين المساعدة.
يقول الناجون؛ إن "سفينة خفر السواحل اليونانية ربطت حبلا على مقدمة سفينة الصيد، وحاولت جرّها، ثم انقطع الحبل. فربطوا آخر، وبدؤوا في التحرّك إلى الأمام، قبل أن يستديروا بشكل مفاجئ يسارا ثم يمينا. وأكّدوا أن هذه الحركة تسببت في اهتزاز القارب بشدة للأمام والخلف ثلاث مرات قبل أن ينقلب".
أصرّ عياد رفقة الناجين الآخرين الذين قابلناهم، على أن سفينة خفر السواحل اليونانية بقيت بالقرب منهم لساعات، دون أن تتخذ أي إجراء لمساعدتهم، وهو ما نفته السلطات بشدة.
وقال عياد؛ إنه "بعد ثلاث ساعات، بدأت قوارب صغيرة من السلطات اليونانية بالوصول، وتم انتشالهم من البحر"، وأضاف أن "رجال الإنقاذ ضربوهم على متن القارب الصغير". وتابع قائلا: "كانوا يصرخون علينا حتى نصمت، وكانوا يضربوننا بأطواق النجاة". وأكد عياد أنه "تعرّض للضرب على عينه على يد خفر السواحل، وليس جراء غرق السفينة نفسها".

تأجيل الاجتماع الوزاري العربي الأوروبي يزعج مصر
ێرك نیوز.. انتقد وزير الخارجية المصري، سامح شكري، مساء الأحد، قرار تأجيل الاجتماع الوزاري العربي الأوروبي، الذي كان مقرراً خلال هذا الأسبوع، بسبب التطبيع مع النظام السوري وإعادته إلى الجامعة العربية.
جاء ذلك في مؤتمر صحفي عقده شكري مع مسؤول السياسة الخارجية في الاتحاد الأوروبي، جوزيب بوريل، في العاصمة المصرية القاهرة.
وقال شكري إن إلغاء الاجتماع بين الاتحاد الأوروبي والجامعة العربية الذي لم يحدث آخر مرة، إلا قبل 4 سنوات من الآن، يعتبر تطوّرا مؤسفا لعلاقة تجمع 27 دولة أوروبية مع 21 دولة عربية.
وأضاف شكري إن قرار عودة النظام السوري كان لا بد أن يكون محل تقدير من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
