During his artistic career, which spans about 50 years, the late left more than 100 recorded tapes of Kurdish folk songs "Dîlana Kurmancî, Shêkhanî", in addition to the audio color that revolves around love, homeland and others.

The great artist Abdul Qadir Suleiman took refuge in the Kurdistan Region in 2011, and he had been paralyzed since 2017.

He died on Monday, September 4, 2023 in Azadi Hospital in the city of Dohuk in the Kurdistan Region, at the age of 62, and was buried in the Shakhki cemetery in Duhok.
