On the occasion of the fifty-third anniversary of the founding of the Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kurdistan, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to the President of the Union, the members of the Executive Office, the Central Council, and all the distinguished religious scholars in Kurdistan.
The main goal of establishing the Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kurdistan by Al-Khalid Barzani on September 21, 1970 was to emphasize the role of religious scholars in the revolution and struggle of our people, in addition to deepening the principles of religiosity, piety, and peaceful coexistence among the people of Kurdistan. Throughout the history of our people, Kurdish clerics and senior Islamic religious scholars have played a decisive role in strengthening the national spirit, rejecting injustice, and preventing extremist and sectarian thought.
Men and scholars of religion always are expected to continue this blessed role, by providing advice and guidance to everyone. On the anniversary of this historic occasion, I wish success to the Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kurdistan and all the distinguished scholars, and I also thank them for their tireless and blessed efforts.

Revolutionary Youth Movement breaks the legs and hands of an elderly Kurdish man in Kobani city

Qamishlo... Generator owners protest against the PYD administration’s decision to reduce the number of electricity subscription hours
ARK News… In protest against the increase in the price of diesel by the PYD administration, generator owners in Qamishlo city in Syrian Kurdistan reduced the generator subscription hours (4) hours per day.
Private local sources from Qamishlo city in Syrian Kurdistan reported that the owners of private generators decided to reduce the number of generator service hours in Qamishlo city center in Syrian Kurdistan from 24 hours to 20 hours per day.
The sources confirmed that the reason the generator owners took this decision was the increase in the price of diesel by the PYD administration, which negatively affected many aspects of citizens’ daily lives.

جاء ذلك خلال لقاء أجراه دان ستوينيسكو مبعوث الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى سوريا، ، مع منى رشماوي رئيسة مكتب المبعوث الأممي الخاص إلى سوريا في دمشق.
وقال ستوينيسكو "شددتُ في هذه المناسبة على أن الهدف السياسي للاتحاد الأوروبي يتماشى مع ما تسعى إليه الأمم المتحدة: حلّ سياسي شامل في سوريا، ينسجم مع قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2254".
مضيفا أنه "ثمة حاجة الآن، أكثر من أي وقت مضى، إلى مزيد من الخطوات المنسّقة الملموسة".
وأشار إلى أن الاتحاد الأوروبي "يدعو، ويعمل من كثب مع الأمم المتحدة وجهات فاعلة أخرى، للتوصّل إلى حلّ سياسي للصراع، مع تقديم مساعدات إنسانية فورية، لمعالجة مسائل حاسمة كالغذاء والماء والمأوى".
وأكد مبعوث الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى سوريا أن "الشعب السوري يستحق أن يعيش بكرامة وسلام، ونلتزم بدعمه في بلوغ هذا الهدف".

More than 220 confirmed cases of cholera were recorded in Erbil
ARK News… The Director of Health of Erbil Governorate, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, on Thursday announced that more than 220 confirmed cases of cholera had been recorded in the governorate.
Dilovan Muhammad Jalal said in a press conference held on Thursday: “So far, we have recorded 221 cases of cholera in the city of Erbil, and this means that the cases are increasing,” stressing that the health authorities in the governorate have taken the necessary procedures and measures regarding this disease.
He added, "When the infections worsen, the work is not limited to the health sector only, but also includes other sectors." He pointed out that the Water Directorate has been informed of the spread of this epidemic, as well as the local government in Erbil, which is scheduled to hold an expanded meeting early next week with the directorates to take action decisions about illness.
The Kurdistan Region is witnessing an outbreak of cholera, and in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, cases have been the most widespread in recent weeks, with health directorates in the region taking treatment and preventive measures for this disease.

موسكو تعلن تدمير مسيّرتين أوكرانيتين قرب القرم.. وقصف روسي على خيرسون
الرئيس الأوكراني سيتحدث أمام البرلمان الكندي في إطار حملته لتعزيز دعم الحلفاء الغربيين لحرب أوكرانيا ضد الغزو الروسي
يوم جديد من المعارك الدامية تشهده الجبهات الروسية الأوكرانية، اليوم الجمعة، حيث يواصل الجيش الروسي حصد المكاسب على الأرض في إطار عمليته العسكرية الخاصة، فيما تستمر القوات الأوكرانية في شن هجومها المضاد في محاولة لاستعادة الأراضي، مستخدمة أسلحة من الغرب، وسط تصريحات متناقضة بين طرفي الصراع.
وفي آخر التطورات، وصل الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي إلى كندا في زيارة غير معلنة مسبقا، اليوم الجمعة، في إطار حملته لتعزيز دعم الحلفاء الغربيين لحرب أوكرانيا ضد العملية العسكرية الروسية.
وميدانيا، أفادت وزارة الدفاع الروسية، في ساعة مبكرة اليوم الجمعة، أن الدفاع الجوي دمر طائرتين مسيرتين أوكرانيتين بالقرب من ساحل القرم وفي منطقة توابسي بإقليم كراسنودار.

وكان الجيش الأوكراني قد أكد استهداف قاعدة عسكرية جوية روسية في شبه جزيرة القرم، فيما أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية، فجر الخميس، التصدي لهجوم إرهابي نفذته قوات كييف تجاه شبه جزيرة القرم، ودمرت أنظمة الدفاع الجوي خلاله 19 طائرة مسيرة أوكرانية.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان: "في ليلة 20-21 سبتمبر، تم التصدي لمحاولة من قبل نظام كييف لتنفيذ هجوم إرهابي باستخدام طائرات مسيرة على أهداف في أراضي روسيا الاتحادية".
وأضاف البيان: "دمرت أنظمة الدفاع الجوي 19 طائرة مسيرة أوكرانية فوق البحر الأسود وأراضي جمهورية القرم، وثلاث طائرات أخرى فوق أراضي مقاطعات كورسك وبيلغورود وأورلوف".
وقالت شركة أوكرينرجو المشغلة للطاقة في أوكرانيا، إن هجمات صاروخية روسية ألحقت أضرارا ببنية تحتية للطاقة في وسط وغرب أوكرانيا، اليوم الخميس.
وذكرت الشركة على تطبيق تليغرام أن الهجمات تسببت في انقطاعات للكهرباء في خمس مناطق هي كييف وجيتومير ودنيبروبتروفسك وريفنه وخاركيف.
وفي وقت سابق، أوكرانيا اعتراض 36 صاروخا من أصل 43 أطلقتها روسيا خلال الليل، وحذرت من "أشهر مقبلة صعبة" بعد الهجوم الصاروخي الروسي الذي وصفته بـ"الهائل".

Condemnation by the Kurdish National Council
The Kurdish National Council in Syria condemned "in the strongest terms the intimidating arrests of journalist Barzan Hussein and activist Junaid Sayed Majeed." Demanding their immediate release. أودت بحياة طفل.. قذائف عشوائية على الأحياء السكنية في الحسكة
شهدت مدينة الحسكة مساء الخميس 21 أيلول 2023، حالة من الخوف والرعب بين المواطنين نتيجة الاشتباكات بين قوات نظام الأسد وميليشيا الدفاع الوطني، وسط تعرض عدة أحياء للقذائف العشوائية.
أفادت مصادر محلية بأن قذائف سقطت في أحياء العزيزية ودولاب العويص والعمران في الحسكة، وأخرى في حي الناصرة، أودت بحياة الطفل "زيدان محمد" البالغ من العمر عامين، إلى جانب تسجيل عدة إصابات.
مضيفة أن، "الاشتباكات توقفت صباح الجمعة، 22 أيلول، لكن حواجز النظام منعت دخول السيارات إلى منطقة المربع الأمني، وأغلب المحلات فيها لا تزال مغلقة".
ووثق ناشطون أكثر من 10 إصابات منذ بداية الاشتباكات منتصف ليل الثلاثاء / الأربعاء بينهم طفل وامراة ورجل مسنّ.
وذكرت مصادر أن، "المدعو عبد القادر حمو قائد ميليشيا الدفاع الوطني ما زال يتحصن في الفيلا التي يسكنها في المربع الأمني، رغم تهديد قوات النظام بقصف الفيلا، إن لم يسلم نفسه".

عفرين.. مؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية تفتتح دورة لتعليم أساسيات الكمبيوتر
افتتحت مؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية في مركز البارزاني للثقافة والتنمية في عفرين بكوردستان سوريا دورة لتعليم أساسيات الكمبيوتر.
وقالت بارزاني الخيرية على صفحتها في فيسبوك، " بتاريخ 19/9/2023 وبالتعاون بين مؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية ومنظمة كاريتاس الألمانية، فتح مركز البارزاني للثقافية والتنمية في عفرين دورة لتعليم الكمبيوتر".
مضيفة أن 10 من الطلبة شاركوا في الدورة، وسيتعلمون فيها برامج الكمبيوتر الأساسية.
وفتحت مؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية، الثلاثاء 4 حزيران 2023 في عفرين بكوردستان سوريا مركزاً ثقافياً وتنموياً باسم "مركز البارزاني للثقافة والتنمية".

عبدالله الثاني: احتجاجات السويداء عادت بسوريا إلى عام 2011
علّق العاهل الأردني عبد الله الثاني على احتجاجات السويداء المستمرة منذ أكثر من شهر ضد النظام السوري، واعتبر أنها عادت بسوريا إلى عام 2011، محذراً من موجة لجوء جديدة للسوريين إلى الأردن.
خلال مشاركته في قمة الشرق الأوسط العالمية في مدينة نيويورك الأمريكية ، قال الملك الأردني: "لقد عدنا إلى بداية الربيع العربي حيث كان الناس يتظاهرون لأنهم يعانون".
وأضاف أن السوريين غير قادرين على وضع الطعام على الطاولة, وقد نواجه نحن واللبنانيون موجة أخرى من اللاجئين, والأردن لا يستطيع استيعاب أكثر من حوالي 1.3 مليون لاجئ سوري موجودين بالفعل في البلاد، ويرجع ذلك جزئياً إلى انخفاض الدعم الدولي.
كما أعرب عن شكه في ما إذا كان النظام السوري يتحكم على المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرته، لافتاً إلى أنه غير متأكد مما إذا كان الأسد هو المسؤول الكامل عن البلاد، في ضوء المشكلة الكبرى المتمثلة في تهريب المخدرات والأسلحة إلى الأردن.
وحول مكافحة الأردن لتهريب المخدرات من مناطق النظام السوري إلى الأراضي الأردنية، قال العاهل الأردني: "إننا نقاتل كل يوم على حدودنا لمنع دخول كميات هائلة من المخدرات إلى بلادنا".
ولفت إلى أن " هذه قضية رئيسية تستغلها جميع الأطراف، بما في ذلك بعض الأشخاص داخل النظام والإيرانيون ووكلاؤهم".
وأعلن الملك الأردني خلال خطابه في افتتاح اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الـ78 المنعقدة بنيويورك، أن الأردن سيحمي حدوده مع سوريا من إرهاب تهريب المخدرات، مشدداً أن الأمن الوطني الأردني، مقدس وأولوية قصوى.
