President Barzani mourns the "martyr of the Kurdistan flag"

ARK News… President Masoud Barzani, on Sunday, February 7, 2021, sent a message of condolence on the death of Ibrahim Sabah, who passed away while performing his duty to raise the Kurdish flag.
He said: Mr. Ibrahim sacrificed his life and martyred during the execution of his sacred duty, and became a martyr for science and for Kurdistan. The following is the text of the telegram:

In the name of God the Merciful

With great sadness and sorrow, on the first day of the start of the teaching process and during the raising of the blessed flag of Kurdistan at the Sor Kiyo basic school, the teacher Ibrahim Sabah lost his life due to an electrical short.

Mr. Ibrahim sacrificed his life and martyred while performing his sacred duty, and he became a martyr for science and for Kurdistan.

On this sad occasion, I extend my condolences and sympathy to the family of the teacher Ibrahim Sabah, his relatives, companions, and all dear Kurdistan teachers and the honorable people of Shaqlawa, and I share their sorrows.

I pray to Almighty God to dwell the deceased in his spaciousness and inspire all patience and solace.
