Russian bombardment at night targeting southern Idlib countryside
ARK News: Russian warplanes launched intensive raids on the southern towns of Idlib in the middle of the night, causing injuries and displacement in the area.
According to the activists, three Russian warplanes targeting the town of Urim al-Joz and the vicinity of the city of Jericho about 12 missile strikes.
The activists added that the sudden bombing came at midnight, which led to the displacement of the people and coincided with a reconnaissance flight in the ambiance of the area.
The Syrian Civil Defense said yesterday that the bombing of the aircraft, believed to be Russian, caused the injury of the family of a man and his wife and five children, as well as significant damage to civilian property and large fires in the region as a result of the raids.
This comes in the context of the military escalation of Russia and the Syrian regime towards the demilitarized zone in the villages of Idlib and Hama, which was accompanied by artillery shelling by the Assad forces on the towns of the region.
