Pedersen reviews the political path to resolving the crisis in Syria and the constitutional committee with al-Moallem
ARK News: Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem received on Sunday the United Nations special envoy to Syria and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they reviewed the ongoing efforts to make progress in the political process to resolve the crisis in Syria and complete consultations related to the political process, including the Constitutional Review Committee.
Al-Moallem also listened to a presentation provided by the Special Envoy on the activities which he had undertaken since his last visit to Damascus last month.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal al-Miqdad and several officials of the Assad regime.
