The fullness of Dukan dam for the first time since 1988
ARK News: The Dukan dam has been fully filled for the second time since it was built while the excess water is discharged from the dam through the emergency hole (Bill Mouth).
The Dukan dam has reached full capacity of the water reservoirs after the cities of the Kurdistan region, and the city of Sulaimaniyah to a wave of heavy rains during the past few days
This is the second time the Dukan dam has been filled, as this situation occurred for the first time in 1988, almost 31 years ago.
Dukan dam, located in the province of Sulaimaniyah which was built on the small Zab river between 1954 and 1959, and the dam is far from the center of the province about 60 km.
