Statement by the Local Council in Afrin of the Kurdish National Council in Syria

Mar 18 2019

Masses of our great Kurdish people
ARK News: There is no doubt that, as is well known, March is a special and special month for our Kurdish people and throughout history, a month is full of occasions and events national and international, happy and sad and painful, and in all circumstances and despite all circumstances, the month of March and as part of our psychology means resurgence and renewal and hope.
We have been in the area of Afrin, like all the Kurdish people in the parts of divided Kurdistan and in the diaspora, we carry out events to revive those events with due attention and in a suitable manner.
However, the circumstances of the past few years have been gradually affecting these activities, especially with the beginning of the conflict in Syria and on Syria and the disastrous negative effects of the course of that conflict.
The circumstances and conditions experienced and lived by our dear region Afrin since 20/1/2018 As the process of invading the Turkish forces with the armed factions and the continuation of the situation in this way threatens a real disaster on the present and future of the region, the various violations are continuing at a high rate, as well as systematic demographic change, and the security situation is still seriously deteriorating.

Concerns about the targeting of citizens and their shops and the theft of their contents in the event of mass absenteeism in commemoration of Nawroz, as well as explosions that could target their communities, are legitimate concerns and are taken seriously by citizens.

We are in the Local Council in Afrin to the Kurdish National Council in Syria, while we feel the absence of the atmosphere and circumstances to commemorate these special occasions national holiday Nawroz naturally In light of the sense of responsibility and appreciation of the possibilities, circumstances, and conditions, we urge and turn to the members of our Kurdish National Council and the members of its parties and supporters and the general of our Kurdish people who are fighting and present on the soil of Afrin beloved to carry out special events for every occasion, especially the feast of Nawroz and only to ignite the flames that symbolize emancipation and salvation from injustice and tyranny and exit to Nature and conditions permitting.

We are confident in getting out of this ordeal and the ability of Afrin to rise again and overcome this difficult and fateful stage.

We wish our Kurdish people and all the citizens of Syria security, safety, peace.
And each Nawroz all of you will be happy.
