ARK News: Peshmerga forces took part on Saturday in a pause tribute to the victims of the Halabja massacre, which was hit by banned chemical weapons by the Baath regime on 16 March 1988.

Where the number of Peshmerga from their leaders revived the tragic anniversary and the stand for five minutes silence for the souls of the martyrs of Halabja.

The participants raised banners and signs condemning this disgraceful criminal act.

More than 5,000 civilians were martyred in the Halabja tragedy, mostly were women and children, and thousands of others were wounded, while the effects of the chemical attack continue with a large number of residents of the province.
