Two years on the closure of the Kurdish National Council offices at the hands of the Syrian wing of PKK

ARK News: Today is passing two years on the closure of the Kurdish National Council offices in Syria and its parties and organizations at the hands of the Democratic Union Party the PYD in Kurdistan Syria.

On 3/3/2017 there was a quarrel between Roj Peshmerga and YPG militants affiliated to the Democratic Union Party the PYD in the area of Sinon belonging to Shangal, the PYD, and its armed groups carried out a brutal campaign against the Kurdish National Council in Syria and kidnapped dozens of leaders of the National Council.


The PYD closed and burned on 15/3/2017, more than 50 offices of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, its organizations and parties in Derik, Girke Lake, Chil Agha, Tirba Spiye, Qamishlo, Amouda, Tel Tamar, Derbasiya, Hasaka and Kobani, the PYD also burned the Kurdish flag and removed it from those offices and headquarters, and kidnapped more than 50 leaders and members of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.


Today, two years after the closure of the offices of the Kurdish National Council in Syria by hands of the PYD, these offices are still closed, and the PYD is still ongoing in its unilateral policies which target the Kurdish people and its political movement in Kurdistan of Syria.
