ARKNews: A member of the political bureau of Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, Muslim Muhammad, said that the Council, which is regarded as an independent figure, is a step in the right direction in spite of its delay to gain the Council full rights as a bloc and endurance obligations and a free expression of its independent will within the legal boundaries drawn and is legally a reality.

Muslim Muhammad told to the site of Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, that the step of representation of the Kurdish National Council in Syria as a legal entity in the last meeting of the negotiating body in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, have come late.

He added, that by virtue of the Kurdish National Council is a political entity and a coalition of parties, independents, social youth activities and women, it should have been represented as such before now.

Mohammed explained, that the National Council represents a large segment of the Kurdish people and its natural right to attend as a legal entity in the international forums for the realization of the rights of Kurds in the constitutional recognition of the rights of the Kurdish people, who live on their historical land.

Mohammed stressed, that the Kurdish National Council is one of the biggest popular political blocs and structured between the blocks and platforms of the elitism Syrian opposition.
