The General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council appoints its new representatives in the National Coalition for the Revolution Forces of the Syrian opposition

ARKNews: The regular meeting of the General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council in Syria was held on Friday, 29/6/2018, in the city of Qamishlo, with the presence of all the members of the General Secretariat of the Council. The meeting dealt with several important points that were discussed on the external and internal political level and the organization level on the council.

In this regard, Mr. Mohamed Ismail, the administrative officer of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria and the leader of the Kurdish National Council, told our website ARK news, saying:

The meeting of the General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council was held today. The mechanism of appointing the representatives of the Kurdish National Council in the National Coalition for Revolution Forces and the Syrian Opposition was discussed instead of those whose membership was terminated. The new members of the Political Council and the General Assembly of the Coalition were only installed, and Vice-President of the coalition will install in the next meeting, because the National Council is the one who authorized and concerned with this matter. "

He added: Representatives of the Council were elected in the coalition of the Constitutional Committee as well as the representative of the Kurdish National Council in the next constitutional committee, that sponsored by the UN envoy in cooperation with international parties between the opposition and the regime.

He also pointed to the status of the Media Office of the Council, saying:

“The attitude of the Media Office was discussed in detail and the message of the Media Office was read out and the points contained therein were discussed and dealt with, and some of them were recognized and some other points were transferred to the Financial Authority of the Council. "

The Kurdish National Council in Syria is about to go to the upcoming negotiations in Geneva, which is sponsored by the United Nations as an independent entity in the negotiating body of the revolution forces and the Syrian opposition.
