The head of Barzani Charity Foundation meets with the chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent administration

ARK News: Musa Ahmed, head of the Barzani Charitable Foundation, met on Tuesday 13/2/2019 with Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer the chairman of the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Associating to discuss the humanitarian and developmental situation in Iraq.

Musa expressed after his meeting with the delegation accompanying the Chairman of Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Association, Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer for the pride of the Foundation in cooperation with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, and he said it is a pride for the Foundation to cooperate with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society.

Musa Ahmed added that the Foundation will provide more services for displaced Iraqis in the Kurdistan Region in terms of quantity and quality in order to improve their living conditions, pointing out that the humanitarian crisis continues and there are many displaced people and refugees registered in the Kurdistan region and that the total number of one million four hundred displaced.

For his part, Al-Sayer stressed the continuation of the Association to provide aid and assistance to refugees and displaced persons in the Kurdistan region in addition to all Iraqi cities.


He said that the Kuwaiti Red Crescent association has been providing assistance to displaced Iraqis since the beginning of the crisis of the displaced throughout the year in cooperation and coordination with humanitarian organizations working in the Iraqi provinces, as well as its establishment of many development projects, including the construction of health centers, schools, mobile clinics and relief projects, health and education.

He praised the role of the Barzani Charity Foundation in providing facilities to the Kuwaiti Red Crescent mission which contributed to the successful arrival of aid to Iraqi displaced people in order to alleviate their suffering.
