Statement on the seventh anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdish Women Union in Syria
ARK News: Today 23/2/2019 marks the seventh anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdish Women Union in Syria, it is an organization of civil society organizations that deal with Kurdish women’s affairs and deal with their problems and allow them to express their opinion to make their own way and draw their future with confidence and clarity Through the opening of training courses for her and the preparation of lectures, seminars and debates in all political, cultural, social and economic fields to work with men side by side and hand in hand to build a healthy and knowledgeable Kurdish society.
The continuation of the Kurdish Women Union in Syria in its struggle for the cause of Kurdish women and the Kurdish community throughout these difficult years which passed through the Kurdistan of Syria from the scourge of war and its tragedies and its devastating effects on the Kurdish people from killing, displacement, dispersion, arrest, poverty, disease and many more and that her sustainability in the midst of these circumstances in itself is a great success, not to mention the activities and events set up by the members of the Union, by participating in and attending sit-ins and demonstrations in front of consulates and foreign embassies inside and outside the country.
On this occasion, we promise Kurdish women to move forward in our struggle for their renaissance and change the society's view of its inferiority and negativity and to cease physical and psychological violence against them and to work hard to establish their rights in the law and the new Syrian constitution.
