Elham Ahmed: It is necessary to end the conflict between us and Turkey
ARK News: During a seminar at the Middle East Research Center in Washington, Elham Ahmed, co-head of the Syrian Democratic Council, said, that "it is necessary to end the conflict between us and Turkey," adding, "We are not a party to the conflict in Turkey”.
"The Americans want to play a role to start a dialogue or resolve the issues between us and Turkey", she added.
Elham Ahmad pointed out that "There is no acceptance of the US withdrawal from Syria in general," adding that "There are serious attempts to reconsider or amend the resolution."
This is the first time in which a senior official in the Syrian Democratic Council to hold talks with the Turkish side and those statements come in conjunction with the rejection of the return of Roj Peshmerga forces to the regions of Kurdistan Syria.
